Duties:

General Description:

Provides administrative support for the Admissions & Recruitment and College Relations & Marketing offices to process and follow-up with recruitment efforts and inquiries through phone, email, text, live chat.  Provides support with scheduled call campaigns to encourage and assist with the enrollment process and review various payment paths.

  • Reports to the Director of Admissions and Recruitment
  • Serves as the first point of contact for students calling the Admissions Office
  • Identifies needs and answers incoming calls, text messages, emails, and live chats while maintaining compliance with FERPA regulations
  • Communicates general information and enrollment procedures (Admissions, Registration, Bursar, and Financial Aid)
  • Processes inquiry cards from recruitment outreach
  • Researches, resolves and responds to caller inquiries
  • Guides students on navigating the various self-service resources
  • Documents calls, emails, texts, and live chat records on the Recruit software
  • Assists the college with outgoing call, text and email initiatives
  • Recognizes, documents and informs management of trends in inquiries
  • Routes calls, emails, text messages and chats to appropriate departments

 

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Experience in Higher Education setting preferred
  • Experience in Text/Email campaigns preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Excellent ability to communicate in written and oral form
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of Ellucian’s Colleague management information system preferred
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.  
  • This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape locations.
