SEARCH EXTENDED Position externally funded due to expire on or before August 31, 2025. Position Summary: This position serves as the lead administrator for the Student Support Services grant.

Salary: $66,949.
Duties:
  • Reports to the Senior Director, Center for Student Success
  • Writes proposal during competition years
  • Prepares and submits college and federal reports
  • Administers program funds within sound fiscal parameters
  • Establishes performance benchmarks and monitors compliance
  • Develops assessment measures for program and area activities
  • Coordinates with appropriate institutional departments for effective delivery of service
  • Participates in the development of area and college-wide retention initiatives
  • Utilizes CRM Advise retention system
  • Supervises and evaluates program staff
  • Recruits and selects program participants, maintaining federal quotas
  • Evaluates and develops improvement plans for program staff and services
  • Ensures compliance with college, state, and federal laws, policies and regulations
  • Utilizes the data management system to register and manage student records, manages program and area data
  • Manages the financial aid appeal process
  • Serves on college committees
  • Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology or Leadership 

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
  • Three years of experience working with students in a culturally and ethnically diverse population in an educational setting
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Grant writing experience preferred
  • Experience working with Ellucian’s Colleague management information system a plus
  • Experience with or alumni of TRIO or other opportunity program a plus

Terms of Employment:

  • This position requires flexible scheduling to include some evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location
