Salary: $17 per hour up to 26 hours per week
Duties:
  • Reports to the Assistant Bursar; Bursar in absence of Assistant
  • Performs cashier functions
  • Assists with billing inquiries
  • Verifies accuracy of accounts receivable reports
  • Assists with student billing and other mailings
  • Performs routine duties in accordance with established procedures and controls
  • Maintains files or correspondence, forms, reports and other materials
  • Enters postings to the appropriate records
  • Processes bookstore accounts when needed
  • Assists students with basic Financial Aid inquiries
  • View Self-Service / Financial Aid Checklist
  • Help view missing documents to complete Financial Aid file
  • Assist with completing of FAFSA
  • Related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED

Experience:

  • Cashiering experience preferred
  • Computer literacy to include spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of office and bookkeeping procedures

Competencies and Skills:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong Customer service skills

This position requires flexible scheduling which may include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape campus, particularly during registration and other peak periods.
