A day of fun promoting STEM & Maker culture with activities for all ages.
Please register at the Check-in table when you arrive for a chance to win prizes & giveaways. Parking is available in Lot 2.
Activities and Events:*
- Nature Walks, Scavenger Hunts and hands-on exhibits: All day in the S-Building
- Physics Fun Zone featuring hands-on exhibits: All day in the A-Building
- Biology and Genetics hands-on experience: All day in the A-Building
- Live Radio presented by Atlantic Cape Radio WRML 107.9: All day in the Quad
- Drone Demo: All Day in the Quad
- Air Traffic Control Simulation: 2-4 p.m. in the S-Building
- Nursing Lab Simulations: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the H-Building
- Digital Media Production Tour: All day (Location TBD)
- Upcycled Cardboard Box Cat house demo: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Spangler Library, D-Building
- Coloring activity station and create your own campaign buttons: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Spangler Library, D-Building
- Visit the Atlantic Cape Art Gallery: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Spangler Library, D-Building
- Model Train Set Display: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Spangler Library, D-Building
- Digital Storytelling Demo with Twine: 1-4 p.m. in the Spangler Library, D-Building
An Atlantic Cape Open House will take place during Maker’s Day from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m., beginning in the Student Center. Interested residents can learn more about the benefits of becoming a student at Atlantic Cape. Register for the Open House at atlantic.edu/openhouse.
