| Salary: | $48,844. | |
| Duties: | Reports to the Associate Dean of GIS and Technology Studies Institute; coordinates grant activities including, but not limited to, recognition activities, purchasing, outreach, articulations, and marketing strategies; develops and maintains IT reporting procedures for outcomes reporting; organizes and maintains a central GIS grant database/clearinghouse; develops GIS curricula and delivers GIS training, instruction and awareness events; assists with formulation of GIS subcommittees and advisory council; fosters relationships with appropriate members of state and local governments, businesses and community leaders in promoting GIS and related technical program offerings and services; serves as lead person in GIS data reporting and activities to assure compliance with requirements of GIS grant; represents the college at community or college affairs as appropriate; provides leadership in development of college policies and procedures. | |
| Minimum Requirements: | Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Knowledge of planning and managing grants. Three years of community college teaching experience. Familiarity with GIS instructional programming and curricula. Excellent communication skills to include public speaking and report writing. | |
