| Duties: | Providing department chairs direct support; reports to department chair. Coordination of adjuncts with department functions; assists department chair in recruiting adjunct instructors; assists department chair in recruiting and coordinating observers of adjunct faculty; providing classroom observation of adjuncts at direction of department chairs; assists department chair in course scheduling; assists chair in procuring texts and classroom materials; supports chair in maintaining curricula consistency within disciplines; at direction of chair, provides guidance to faculty and adjuncts re: course content, curricula, pedagogy and instructional strategies; meets regularly with chair and advises in regards to instructional issues and concerns; advises chair regarding the continued status of adjunct instructors; coordinates department specific faculty development activities; assists chair in the review and recommendation of library acquisitions; assists department chair in program review activities. |

| Note: Compensation: One three contact hour reduced load for Fall and Spring semesters plus annual stipend of $1,100. Summer stipend paid at contractual rate of $24 per hour. Applications will be considered upon arrival. Deadline will end once position is filled. | ||
