Director, WACC Support Services

Duties: Reports to the Dean, Worthington Atlantic City Campus, Facilities, Planning and Research; organizes, delegates and follows-up on assignments designated to WACC academic and administration support services; assures excellence and high-quality on-site WACC Academic Support Services in cooperation with the offices of the Vice President of Academic Affairs; schedules, supervises and trains support service staff (full and part time) for Academic services, Deanís Office, finance and cross functional building administration (such as leadership team meetings); assures high-quality facility support for WACC faculty and adjuncts in cooperation with the offices of the Dean of Instruction; directs the WACC Faculty Support Office; provides direct customer support to Faculty and Adjunct Instructors; assists Vice President of Academic Affairs office in retention of WACC part-time instructors; supports a cross functional approach to ensure a strong working relationship with WACC facilities management, security, library, testing, and business services; assists the Dean in developing and implementing effective WACC operations strategies and a planning process which enhances services and identifies areas needing improvement; assists in budgeting and planning processes; oversees and monitors administrative budget and R&R funds; monitors and reserves WACC classroom and meeting space for credit and continuing education courses; communicates with College Relations and building occupants regarding WACC activities/events; assists the Dean in serving as a resource for students, organizations and community groups seeking information about WACC courses and services; participates in college-wide committees as appropriate; conducts campus tours; represents Atlantic Cape at Atlantic City community and local organization events; related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelorís degree. Five years of employment experience in an administrative or office management role. Strong computer literacy. Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends at any Atlantic Cape location.
