The Innovation Center was designed to provide our students with comprehensive instruction and services in Esports, Cybersecurity and Game Design. Students may also participate in our Esports athletic program, which is affiliated with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), where they may virtually compete against more than 80 community colleges from around the country.

Innovation Center Courtyard
  • Officially opened on February 9, 2023.
  • Funded by a $4 million grant from New Jersey’s Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act and $1.33 million from Atlantic County.
  • Replaces the original Boyer Hall structure, which was erected in 1967 and was one of the oldest buildings on campus.
  • Features a new Esports gaming lab, larger computer classroom, 24-person and 36-person seminar classrooms, lobby and common areas for student study and gathering.
  • Outfitted with state-of-the-art technologies from high-efficiency geothermal HVAC system, LED lighting and an energy-efficient white roof to enclosed, climate-controlled access between the three B buildings.
  • Courtyard features a new pavilion structure that provides space for outdoor learning and campus activities, while solar powered picnic tables, new hardscaping and planter beds are filled with indigenous, hearty and drought resistant plants.
