Duties:
  • Coordinates professional development activities for faculty and staff
  • Assists in the creation, distribution and analysis of a needs assessment survey to identify training priorities
  • Coordinates the Adjunct Academy programming
  • Schedules Professional Development activities including securing presenters and space
  • Ensures adjunct faculty and presenters are compensated for participating in CCOG training
  • Offers assistance in developing additional classroom assessment techniques and strategies
  • Assists faculty in developing group activities and creates rubrics to assess group activities
  • Assists faculty in developing online learning activities that are logically organized and facile for students to maneuver
  • Assists faculty in creating discussion questions and engagement strategies in online classes and rubrics for assessing group discussion in online classes
  • Offers practical strategies to create classroom environment which encourages creativity and engagement
  • Offers practical strategies to create a classroom which is non-threatening and conducive to a collaborative active learning environment
