Office Assistant, Enrollment Services (TEMP)

Duties:
  • Reports to the Registrar
  • Provides administrative support for Enrollment Services
  • Monitors the schedule, appointments and incoming mail of the Registrar Processes mail, fax, in-person and web student-related transactions, including but not limited to Registration, add/drop, withdraw, transcript processing, information change requests grade changes and student verification
  • Ensures support documentation for transactions is received and filed
  • Updates student information such as name, address, telephone and email address changes
  • Processes F-to-W grade appeals
  • Processes chargeback authorizations
  • Provides registration support to student enrolling via the web
  • Works with other departments and faculty to assist students
  • Reviews student request for extenuating drops/refunds
  • Maintains the filing and retention schedule of all documents related to student records, permanent and temporary
  • Responsible for the graduation process, including but not limited to, student degree application degree audit, course substitution/waiver requests, diploma printing and mailing; assists with the commencement ceremony
  • Assumes responsibility of Enrollment Services Office in the absence of the Registrar
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Experience in a professional setting; Higher Education preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Technology skills to include Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working with Ellucian’s Colleague management information system preferred
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location
