Salary: $10 per hour (maximum 26 hrs per week)
Duties: Reports to the Assistant Director, GEAR UP at Atlantic Cape; represents a positive attitude to GEAR UP Students at all times; assists instructors during class; provides mentoring support and assistance to GEAR UP Students; meets with assigned students based upon agreed work schedule; assist in the development of skills necessary for protégés to succeed both personally and academically; assist GEAR UP Students in developing realistic career/academic goals and expectations; participate in the planning and execution of activities; accompany GEAR UP Students on field trips (day and overnight) and other activities related to the program; assists with evaluation and documentation of activities; participates in mentor training; perform duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, GEAR UP at Atlantic Cape, related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:Associate’s degree or currently enrolled. Experience working with youth populations. Technology skills to include Microsoft Office. Familiar with social media. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  Note: This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
