PT Career Center Assistant, Cape May Campus

Duties:

Reports to the Director, CMCC Student Services and Institutional Career Services.

Provides assistance to students entering the career center.

Assists students with registering for various programs the center offers.

Organize, file and display guidance materials

Maintain displays and bulletin boards.

Assists the Director with developing career events and publications

Prepares flyers, mailers and other materials to publicize Career Center services, resources and speaker programs.

Assist the Director with scheduling visitations by representatives from local colleges

Organize, coordinate and publicize career-related events and other opportunities for students to learn about internships, career fairs, and transfer programs available.

 Maintains current lists and bulletins concerning scholarships and other financial aids available; provide information concerning specialized scholarships and assistance in completing application forms.

Maintains a list of local employment opportunities.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates Degree

Multi-tasking ability and organizational skills

Excellent oral/written communication skills

Strong computer skills.

High degree of professionalism.

Ability to consistently meet established goals and deadlines.

Must be available one evening per week and one Saturday per month
