Two Academy of Culinary Arts Students Receive Scholarships from the Somers Point Restaurant Association

The Somers Point Restaurant Association awarded two $500 scholarships to Academy of Culinary Arts students, Ony Randrasana of Somers Point and Briana Husak of Vineland, for their academic achievements and participating in this year’s Somers Point “Sip & Savor” Restaurant Week Kick-Off event that was held on Sunday, Oct. 29. 

Pat and Bill Hurst of Egg Harbor Township, owners of Fitzpatrick’s Deli & Steakhouse in Somers Point and co-founders of the Somers Point Restaurant Association, awarded the scholarships to the students on Nov. 14 in Careme’s Restaurant located at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing.
