Atlantic Cape Offers New Entrepreneur Training Workshops at Cape May County Campus

Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a series of entrepreneur training workshops at its Cape May County Campus this spring for those interested in successfully marketing their own business.

The Perfect Pitch: The Secret Weapon for Successful Pitches, Presentations and Communications teaches how to tell a story in the most effective way to connect with an audience at an emotional level, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21. Cost is $39. During this interactive workshops, attendants will learn what a story is and why it matters; the seven key elements for creating a stellar story within a pitch or persuasive presentation; using stories to build their brand; and how to create stories for their arsenal of call-to-action strategies that are appropriate for different occasions and audiences.

In Social Media Crisis Management, attendants will learn the best practices for businesses and organizations in managing their social media in order to effectively plan and prevent internal and external crisis situations, 6-9 p.m., Thursday, March 1.

Entrepreneur Marketing Basics teaches participants how to successfully market their products or services and will cover essential marketing plan components and the latest digital marketing and networking strategies, 6-9 p.m., Thursday, March 8. Cost is $39.

During Insider Secrets to Crowdfunding, attendants learn all about the new way to raise money for their causes, campaigns, projects or business, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, March 14. Cost is $39.

Hire the Best, Skip the Rest introduces students to an innovative hiring system that will help build a company on the strengths of its employees, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, March 21.

Digital Marketing explores behavioral targeting and website retargeting as marketing strategies, as well as new trends shape the decision making process and how they can help build a business, 6-9 p.m., Thursday, April 5.

Classes will be held at Atlantic Cape’s Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. Each workshop costs $39.
