International Education and Multicultural Awareness Committee

Membership - Voting

One full-time faculty member from each department and representation from the Academy of Culinary Arts, and other relevant areas.

Director of Admissions, Dean of Instruction, Associate Dean of Academic Support Services and Dean of Students.

To advise the Senior Dean of Academic Affairs and the President of the College, through the Collegiate
Assembly, on all matters relating to international students and internationalizing the College curricula.
To promote global awareness among faculty and students by encouraging and facilitating the revision and/or creation of courses and curricula and various activities such as studying and teaching abroad programs.
To advise various administrative offices on College policies regarding the admission and retention of international and immigrant students.
To promote awareness of and sensitivity to the identities and needs of students from varying cultural backgrounds among all College personnel.
To promote the successful adjustment of international and immigrant students to studying at ACCC and living in this area.

This Committee shall report to the FAEC and the Senior Dean of Academic Affairs.
