Membership - Voting
One full-time faculty member from each department, one counselor/librarian.
Advisory
Academic Dean, Director of Facilities Planning and Management.
Functions
- To develop, review, and advise on academic policies and procedures.
- To evaluate and assist in periodically re-writing the faculty handbook.
- To study and recommend methods of evaluation for hiring, retention, and promotion of faculty members and administrators.
- To review college publications (faculty handbook, college catalog, student handbook, faculty advisor's handbook) for accuracy and consistency in statements of college policy.
- To assist in preparing accreditation reports.
- To recommend improvements in the physical plant.
- To recommend new policies concerning the above stated responsibilities.
Reports
This committee shall report to the FAEC, the Chief Academic Officer, and the Dean of Instruction.
