Humanities-option

Liberal Arts, Associate in Arts

Designed to give students an opportunity to explore various disciplines before selecting a specific career area. This option can lead to a baccalaureate degree in history, literature, philosophy, religion or the arts.

An A.A. degree with a humanities option can lead to careers in education, the arts, communications, law and many other non-technical fields.

Students planning to apply to a New Jersey college are advised to select either SPCH110 or SPCH120 as a liberal arts elective and one of the following history courses: HIST101, 102, 103 or 104. Additionally, students should plan on counting HPED150 as a 46th credit. For further information about transfer agreements with New Jersey colleges and universities see one of ACCC's transfer counselors, check out our transfer agreements and transfer information.
