Web Technologies-Option
Computer Systems Support, Associate in Applied Science
The Web Technologies option serves students who are not interested in transferring to a four-year institution. It is designed to present various aspects of Web page design and give both an academic and professional perspective. Students learn the theoretical principles of Web page and Web site design, providing a conceptual foundation while using the industry-standard tools for their development.
The option also offers individuals already working in the Web publishing industry the opportunity to advance their knowledge. Upon graduation, employment opportunities may include Web page designer, Web developer and Web analyst.
