The Bilingual Office Specialist Series provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for entry to a clerical position that requires communication skills in English and Spanish.
The series prepares the student with a foundation in basic secretarial skills and knowledge as well as communication skills appropriate to work in offices that serve those whose native language is not English, including governmental offices, health service organizations, educational institutions and private business.
After completing the series, students may continue in Office Systems Technology and earn an A.A.S. Degree.

**Native English speaking students should replace Advanced ESL: Listening and Speaking for the Workplace with proficiency in Spanish demonstrated by passing an oral examination.
