Welcome Back Fall 2020

Safely Returning to Campus

Atlantic Cape is welcoming back students to campus for the Fall 2020 semester in a limited capacity in order to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.   Classes at the Cape May campus start September 21, 2020.   In preparation for the fall semester, we will be reopening in-person student services including admissions, financial aid, academic advising, testing, and bursar at all three campus locations.

  • In-person student services are available now at all three of our campus locations.
  • Mays Landing campus: Student services are available Monday-Friday. Testing services are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment only.
  • Atlantic City campus: Student services are available on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Cape May campus: Student services are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We ask that all visitors follow Campus Safety Protocols and call ahead to see if you can make an appointment before visiting.

Safety Protocols

Safety is our first priority and we are taking numerous steps to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff as we begin to re-open. These measures include frequent and thorough disinfecting of common areas and surfaces, social distancing and mask requirements for our campus locations, remote learning/work opportunities, and staggered schedules to reduce the amount of people on campus.

Our Return To Campus Task Force has been working diligently to develop a plan for a safe return to campus operations. Our safe reopening plan was reviewed and approved by the state of New Jersey and is in accordance with all local and federal guidance for mitigating the risk of COVID-19.

A Message From Atlantic Cape president, Dr. Barbara Gaba

The reopening of the campuses will be a measured and gradual approach to ensure the health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Our campuses will look very different this year and we are doing the very best we can in light of the challenges we are facing to keep everyone safe. I thank you for your continued support and I know that we will get through this together as one Atlantic Cape family. Stay safe and be well! Dr. Barbara Gaba President, Atlantic Cape

Safety starts with you

It is the expectation that all Atlantic Cape visitors, students, faculty, and staff will take personal responsibility in helping to keep our Atlantic Cape family safe by following safety protocols while on campus and by limiting their personal exposure to the best of their ability. Per CDC Guidelines, if you feel unwell, stay home.

Everyone has a part to play. We know that you will continue to make smart decisions in order to keep everyone safe.

We look forward to your return to a safe campus and a productive academic year.
