Rodney Velardi

Biography:

Rodney Velardi has been the  Head Coach at Atlantic Cape since 2010. Prior to joining Atlantic Cape, Coach Velardi was the Head Coach for Egg Harbor Township High School from 2000-2005. He previously coached at Elizabeth HS, Toms River South HS and Ocean County College.

As a player, Coach Velardi played at Butler University and Toms River South HS. At Toms River South, he was a two-time All-State selection, and was also named by the USA Today as one of the nation's top baseball prospects.

Coach Velardi has a BS Secondary Education from Butler University, an MS, Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University, and is pursuing a Doctoral Degree from Walden University.
