Atlantic Cape Baseball

Baseball begins training in the fall and official practice begins in January. The season starts in March and ends with the Region 19 playoffs in May. Prospective student-athletes must be enrolled full time (12 credits) in the spring semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA. The Buccaneers play in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and are members of Region 19 and the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC).

Baseball is played at Surf Stadium in Atlantic City, NJ. The address is 545 North Albany Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

2019 Season

The 2019 baseball team has high expectations. The Bucs have added 22 newcomers to bolster the roster from 16 to 26. The increased roster will enable the team to play more games, and boost their chances for the playoffs.

Returning to the lineup from last year are Sean Dillon (Mainland), Kyle Eppright (Cape May Tech), Joe Hartley (Holy Spirit), and Oscar Tejeda (Pleasantville).

Transfers Anthony Barretta (Immaculatta), Nick Atohi (RCBC), and Nico Piatigorski (Florida Memorial) will provide additional experience.

Freshman Richard Almonte (Pleasantville), Jacob Brennan (St. Joseph), Brian Dickson (Egg Harbor Twp.), Mike Grazizno (ACIT), Jared Heller (New Egypt), Justin Maniero (Buena), Jake Morrissey (Cape May Tech), Ishmael Muniz (Vineland), Nick Picinich (Cedar Grove), Frank Piernikowski (Ocean Citry), Philip Santa Maria (ACIT), Brandon Soltys (ACIT), and Wyatt Stetzer (Ocean City) are all expected to contribute.
