Men's Basketball at Atlantic Cape

Men’s Basketball begins practice on October 1st. The season begins in mid-November and ends with the Region 19 playoffs in February. Prospective student athletes must be enrolled in at least 12 credits at the beginning of the season in the fall and maintain a 2.0 GPA to be eligible for the spring semester. The Buccaneers play in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and are members of Region 19 and the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC).

for the week of November 10, 2019 to November 16, 2019!
In the two wins vs RCSJ-Gloucester and Bergen CC Ayshion had 25 and 32 points. Ayshion is averaging 28 points per game, and is currently 4th in the nation for scoring average!

The Bucs have been on a 5 games losing skid, since November 19, 2019,  falling to RCSJ-Cumberland, Brookdale CC, Camden CC, Salem CC, and Sussex CC.
The Bucs hope to turn things around December 12, 2019 against Union CC.

Great job to the Atlantic Cape men's basketball team for another win on Saturday, November 16, 2019 against Bergen with a final score of 97-89!
Tariq Adams scored a total of 27 points and Ayshion Centeno totaled 25 during the game! Ramon Rodriguez also scored 16 points, while Tim Bethel added another 13 points.

Congratulations to the Atlantic Cape Men's Basketball players for winning the game against Passaic with a 98 to 93 score!
Ayshion Centeno played a great game scoring 35 points and 9 assists. Marcus Franklin also had a great game with 32 points and 4 steals at the Passaic game Saturday, November 9, 2019. 

Despite a loss, Tuesday's November 5, 2019 game against the defending champions Middlesex was well played. The Buccaneers came close to winning with a score of 85 to their 92. Ayshion Centeno scored 21 points during this game, Ramon Rodriguez scored 20 points with 5 rebounds, while Marcus Franklin totaled 17 points with 5 rebounds. 

2019-2020 Season

The Atlantic Cape men's basketball team will seek to improve upon last season's record. Coach Robert Anderson (3rd year head coach) is optimistic about this year's team, and hopes to make the playoffs. The Bucs compete in the Garden State Athletic Conference and Region XIX in the NJCAA.
