Women's Basketball Coach

With a talent for connecting with people, and an expertise in the fine details of education excellence, Thomas McGuire is at the helm of Atlantic Cape Women’s Basketball. Whether it’s conceiving a new program to help student-athletes reach their greatest potential, or setting up extra support, Coach/Professor McGuire dedicates the time and attention necessary to help his student-athletes succeed. 

Mr. McGuire has extensive experience in sports medicine/athletic training/exercise physiology, education and coaching. In addition to credentialing through the American College of Sports Medicine, McGuire maintains certification as a professional coach. Mr. McGuire has over a decade of experience coaching basketball at all levels from AAU through high school. 

In 2013, Mr. McGuire achieved a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Rider University. Upon earning his master’s degree, McGuire was hired as a school principal, serving in that capacity for seven years at a school in Cape May County.  

Now, Mr. McGuire is excited to bring his knowledge, teaching and leadership experience to Atlantic Cape. He looks forward to guiding the Atlantic Cape Women’s Basketball Program for years to come.
