- Registration: Registration typically occurs after a Student has completed an advisement session. New Students are encouraged to take the Placement Test prior to seeing an Advisor to register for courses. A Student in a specific program, such as the E.S.L. Program or the Culinary Program, will have to adhere to the registration procedures of that particular program and is normally only permitted to take certain courses in a specific sequence, dependent on relevant test scores. Many Students, well on their way to a degree, will need only a minimum of guidance and can go directly to the Enrollment Services Office, register using the ACCCExpress Phone Service, or via the Internet. Very few variations, if any, are permitted in relation to Degree Programs and can be permitted only through the Head(s) of the Department, for contact information call the Division Office at 609-343-5114. In Atlantic City, new student orientation takes place in the classroom at the beginning of the class. This method is effective in reaching our diverse population. In Cape May, the orientation process is a bit informal and usually occurs on a one on one basis during the registration process.
- Conflict Resolution: Occasionally, problems between students, faculty, or staff may develop.
