The Human Resources Department maintains a personnel file for each employee of Atlantic Cape Community College. In order to maintain current records, it is essential that the department be notified immediately of any changes in address, telephone number, material status or number of dependents.

The personnel file contains relevant personnel information, basic employment records and other pertinent material including evaluations and documents. In any employee hearing, no written material shall be used except that contained in the designated personnel file.

Upon reasonable notice any employee may review the contents of his/her personnel file. The college may remove pre-employment references and interview evaluation materials prior to the review. At such a review, which shall be conducted in the presence of a designated member of the administration, the employee has the right of association representation.
