Adult Basic Education/GED/ESL
Atlantic Cape Community College, through a grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor, offers free Adult Education classes. English as a Second Language classes are offered at the Worthington Atlantic City campus September through May in both the morning and the evening. Classes include beginner level ESL classes as well as College Pathways classes, which prepare students to enter the college as credit students. Adult Education classes are held at our partner, the One Stop Career Center in Pleasantville, 4 days per week. High School Equivalency Preparation classes (GED) are offered at the One Stop Career Center during the day or at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus morning, afternoon or evening. All classes are free. Placement testing is required for all classes.

The Institute for Service Excellence (ISE)
The Institute for Service Excellence (ISE) offers training to potential workers in retail, dining, tourism, hospitality, financial services, and other service industry employers. The ISE provides learning opportunities for our clients to achieve improved economic prosperity, individual performance and productivity, and implementation and mastery of technology.

- Recruitment - Graduates of the ISE will receive credentials proving attainment of competencies in sales and service techniques. Our graduates will be ready for employment in a variety of service industries.
- Education and Training - Training at ISE is geared to providing potential employees the customer service, sales and computer skills needed to enter the field. Vocational English as a Second Language is available for individuals with Limited English Proficiency.
- Retention - By providing potential employees with strong sales and service skills, ISE will help the industry to reduce turnover rates.

If you're job searching or looking to move up in the job you already have, this certification will give you an edge.
