Hugh Turner Joins Atlantic Cape Foundation Board of Trustees

The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation Board of Trustees welcomed Hugh Turner of Egg Harbor Township as a new member on Sept. 19.

Since 2006, Turner has held the position of vice president of finance at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Previous to his work at Borgata, he worked in both operational and corporate roles within the gaming industry and has lived in Tennessee, Missouri and Louisiana. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Atlantic Cape established the Foundation in 1978 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity to build broad base of financial support for its programs and services. Foundation members are drawn from local industry and small businesses and represent a broad cross-section of active leaders in the community. The Foundation has raised more than $5 million for scholarships, Foundation operations and to enhance academic programs and the campus environment. Annually, the Foundation provides nearly $500,000 for institutional scholarships, grants and emergency help.
