Last Call for Nominations for Atlantic Cape’s 2023 President’s Distinguished Alumni Awards

MAYS LANDING — The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation is seeking final nominations prior to the upcoming January 30 deadline for its 2023 President’s Distinguished Alumni Awards, which have been presented annually since 2010 to Atlantic Cape graduates that have differentiated themselves through professional, public and community-based accomplishments.

“It is truly an honor to recognize the President's Distinguished Alumni, who give of their time, talent, and resources to generously serve others in their communities, Atlantic Cape and its students,” said Jean McAlister, chief of staff, chief advancement officer, executive director, Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation.

Nominations are currently still being accepted in the following categories: Distinguished Alumni Award (open to all graduates) and Young Alumni Achievement Award (open to graduates 40 years of age and younger). Award recipients will be honored at a special celebratory dinner on Thursday, March 23 at Careme’s, Atlantic Cape’s student-run gourmet restaurant on the Mays Landing campus. Award recipients will also be recognized at the college’s commencement ceremonies on May 18.

In 2022, the Foundation recognized three Distinguished Alumni Award recipients: Terry Budd, ‘78, Ocean View; Greg Lasher, ‘97, Cape May Court House; and William McCarrick, ‘84, Hyde Park, NY. Two Young Alumni Achievement winners were recognized, as well: Jerome Ingram, ‘04, Galloway Township and Taylor Henry, ‘16, Wildwood.
