MAYS LANDING — Atlantic Cape Community College’s Dr. Natalie Devonish, Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, and Stacey Zacharoff, Senior Director of the Center for Student Success, were honored at the Atlantic City (NJ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s 20th Anniversary Gala on March 3 at The Carriage House in Galloway.

Devonish, whose primary responsibilities at Atlantic Cape are to ensure academic services and opportunities are available for the college’s students and adults who desire or need professional continuing education services, received the “Education and Community Leadership” award. Zacharoff, whose duties include overseeing the college’s Educational Opportunity Fund program, Student Support Services and more, received the “Community Service Award.”

Devonish spoke to the importance of her honor.

“It embodies all that I am. I am an avid supporter of education and through my leadership I have made intentional efforts to put academics in the forefront,” said Devonish, who along with Zacharoff, were accompanied by Atlantic Cape President Dr. Barbara Gaba and Senior VP Academic Affairs Dr. Josette Katz. “To be recognized by my peers, mentors and other community leaders makes this honor that much more special.”

Zacharoff echoed those sentiments.

“Receiving this award is very special to me. Participating in community service activities is a part of who I am and it allows me the opportunity to give back and uplift my community,” Zacharoff said.
