Nonprofit Resource Centers

Nonprofit Resource Center Features

The Nonprofit Resource Centers (NRC) offers FREE access to the Funding Information Network (FIN). The FIN is a suite of online databases from Candid (previously known as the Foundation Center and Guidestar). The FIN offers the most up-to-date information on available grant opportunities and funding history for 140,000+ U.S. and international foundations, corporations, and federal agencies.

The Nonprofit Resource Centers are made possible thanks to the Atlantic Cape Foundation, the ThriveAC Fund and the Cape May County BizHub.

  • The Foundation Directory Online (FDO) database is a research tool that helps grant seekers locate the funding sources for nonprofit organizations, individuals, and businesses.
  • The Grants to Individuals database identifies organizations that fund scholarships and creative or entrepreneurial projects.

Accessing the Nonprofit Resource Centers

The Nonprofit Resource Centers at Atlantic Cape are located on the Worthington Atlantic City Campus and the Cape May County Campus. The FIN databases can only be used on campus; there is no off-campus access at this time. To begin your research using one of the FIN databases, use the links inside the Nonprofit Funding Information Network Guide.

The Centers are open to the public during library hours. Before visiting, please check out current library hours. If you have questions or anticipate needing assistance with the FIN resources, call the library circulation desk or email fin@atlantic.edu.
