Worthington Hosts Community Outreach Events in April

During the month of April, the Worthington Campus of Atlantic Cape was busy hosting three community outreach events. On Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, Atlantic Cape partnered with the Fellowship of Churches and Mayor’s Office of Atlantic City to carry out a community food distribution at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus. Seven hundred meal boxes were distributed in coordination with the Easter event at Brown's Park.

Atlantic Cape supported Recovery Force’s Easter Holiday event at Brown’s Park on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021. Over one hundred and fifty children spent the day at the park and enjoyed games, prizes, and fun Easter activities.

Atlantic Cape along with the Culinary Student Association (CSA) and the Professional Chefs Association of South Jersey supported Angels in Motion on another community feeding on Saturday, April 10th, 2021. The event was held in Center City Park in Atlantic City. Students from the Culinary Student Association & chef’s members donated food and their time. Over two hundred grab-and-go meal kits were made and donated to people in the community. Each kit included sandwiches, condiments, water, and dessert.
