MAYS LANDING — The sound of footsteps emanating from up and down hallways, the voice of professors engaged in classroom conversation with students and book bags slung from broad shoulders traversing the campus Quad between classes can mean only one thing: school is back in session!

The Cape May campus will welcome its students to campus on Monday, September 25.

Students of all ages are again enrolled in courses either in the traditional in-person/on-campus, online (complete assignments by a predetermined deadline), hybrid (in-person/online) and remote (signing in to classes live via Zoom or Blackboard).

The Student Government Association (SGA) hosted a Welcome to Campus coffee and donuts event in the Student Center in G Building. Freshmen and sophomore students stopped by before and after their classes to speak with various club members, learn about exciting future campus events and how to stay connected with the college’s Campus Groups.

A big majority of the students on campus were enthusiastic about the return to school after a long and relaxing summer vacation.

In the Innovation Center lobby were Alyssa Lloyd, Jake Elko and Anthony Corson enjoying some down time in between classes.

“It feels good to be back and I am ready to get my year completed,” said Elko, a sophomore Environmental Science major from Sea Isle City who plans on pursuing his bachelor’s degree at Stockton University.
