Welcome to the One-Stop Welcome Center at Atlantic Cape!
We are excited that you have chosen to start your educational journey with us. Before you begin, we recommend that you have your high school/college transcripts, SAT or ACT scores with you, as that will help us determine which classes you will need during your first semester.
All three of our campus locations are open Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We are closed on Fridays now through August 14th. When you arrive, check-in at our One-Stop Welcome Center Kiosk or click a button below for your preferred campus to join the queue.
- Apply to Atlantic Cape
Before you visit our new One-Stop Welcome Center in-person, we ask that you fill out your FREE application to Atlantic Cape. You can fill the application out at home or on your phone by visiting atlantic.edu/apply or you can use one of our self service kiosks at any of our three convenient campus locations. Atlantic Cape is an open enrollment institution so your acceptance is guaranteed. - Meet your Atlantic Cape Student Services Specialist
Whether virtually or in-person, you will have one central point of contact at Atlantic Cape to guide you through the registration process and answer questions you might have. If you don’t have your high school/college transcripts, SAT, or ACT test scores we will ask you to take a placement test. You can’t fail our test – it’s simply a way for us to ensure that you are in the correct class level. - Career & Academic Major Exploration
Are you unsure what career path you want to pursue? It is not uncommon to be undecided when you are starting your journey. Your Student Services Specialist will help you determine career goals that you may have in mind and help you decide on a major. - Apply for financial aid
All Atlantic Cape students are highly encouraged to apply for financial aid. Applying is free and can save you a lot of money. You can save time by starting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov or we can assist you in this process. Be sure to use Atlantic Cape’s code 002596 when filling out the application, and also choose to use your data for the State of New Jersey. Financial aid determinations are based on many different criteria and mean you could qualify for federal and state aid, grants, and you might even qualify for tuition-free college through New Jersey's Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG). - Plan out your classes and register
Your Student Services Specialist will plan and register you for your classes. - Payment
You must make a payment, sign up for a payment plan, OR apply financial aid in order to reserve your space in your classes. If necessary, your Student Services Specialist will help you process a payment through Self Service or direct you to the Bursar to make your payment in-person or set up a payment plan. Atlantic Cape accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and E-Check. Payment for Summer is due upon registration.
Payment for 2023 Fall is due Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Payment plans are available for the Fall & Spring Semesters.
