About Your Faculty Advisor

balloons.jpgHaving a faculty advisor in your area of study is one of the smartest moves you can make as a student. Faculty advisors bring real-world experience and in-depth knowledge of your academic program, which means they can offer tailored guidance on course selection, internships, transfer options and career pathways. They help you make informed decisions that align with your goals and ensure you're on track for graduation. Plus, building a connection with a faculty member in your field can open doors to mentorship, networking and opportunities you might not find on your own.

You are highly encouraged to meet with your assigned or faculty advisor. You can contact your faculty advisor via email or call Academic Affairs at (609) 343-4909

Get a Fresh Start with Credit Amnesty

If you’ve taken college courses in the past, but didn’t do as well as you hoped, credit amnesty can give you a second chance. Atlantic Cape offers eligible students the opportunity to remove previously earned failing grades from their GPA calculation through our Credit Amnesty Program. This can help improve your academic standing and make it easier to continue your education. You’ll still see those courses on your transcript, but they won’t count against your GPA. To learn more or apply, talk to your Student Service Navigator.
